Yield: 4 flatbreads
Prep Time: 20 minutes
Level: Easy
Ingredients:
- 2 cups flour
- 1 cup full-fat yogurt
- 3.5 ounces Tnuva Feta Sheep’s Milk Cheese
- 3 slices Tnuva Edam Cheese
- 3/4 cup corn niblets, drained
Instructions
- Put the flour and yogurt in a mixer bowl and knead 4-5 minutes until you have a smooth dough.
- In a medium bowl, combine the cheeses with the corn.
- Divide the dough into 4 pieces and roll out thinly.
- Scoop two heaping spoonfuls of the cheese-corn filling and place into the bottom half of each circle, making sure to leave the edges clear. Fold each circle into a half-moon, pressing the edges to seal so that the cheese doesn’t leak out.
- Option 1: Brush with egg and bake in an oven that was preheated to 375°F until golden. Option 2: Pan fry with a little olive oil. Turn over and fry the other side.
