Crostini With Feta & Pesto

Yield: 6 servings

Level: Easy

Ingredients:

½ baguette sliced on the diagonal into 12 slices
Olive oil for brushing
3 tablespoons pesto
3.5 ounces Tnuva Crumbled Sheep Feta
2-3 tablespoons roasted sunflower/pumpkin seeds

Instructions:

1. Set the oven to “broil.” Brush one side of each bread slice with a little olive oil. Place all the slices on a baking pan and broil for a minute or two. Turn slices over and broil on the other side. Remove from oven. This step can be done in advance.

2. Before serving, spread each slice with a small amount of pesto (the side with the oil). Place a small amount of Feta on top of the pesto.

3. Place under the boiler until the cheese is melted. Remove from oven and immediately sprinkle some roasted seeds on top. Press down. Serve immediately.
