Bite-Sized Feta-Filled Doughnuts

2.5 cups white flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 8-ounce container half-and-half
2 eggs
1 teaspoon salt
3 tablespoons milk, or more as needed

7 ounces Tnuva Feta Cheese, crumbled
4 slices Tnuva Edam Cheese, cut into small pieces

Oil for frying


1. Put all dough ingredients in a large bowl and knead by hand for several minutes. Add milk if the dough is dry.
2. Combine the cheeses in a small bowl.
3. Pinch off a plum-sized piece of dough and flatten slightly. Fill with a teaspoon of cheese filling and close the dough around it. Repeat with remaining dough and filling.
4. Heat oil in a heavy saucepan and fry until golden.
5. Serve immediately.
