Butterscotch Cookie Sticks

Yield: 20 cookies

Prep Time: 30 minutes

Ingredients:

5 ounces Tnuva Butter, softened
¾ cup sugar
3 tablespoons silan
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 ½ cups flour
¼ teaspoon baking powder

Instructions

1. In a small saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat, stirring constantly. Continue cooking the butter until it turns amber brown. Remove from the flame and let cool.
2. In a bowl, combine the melted butter with the rest of the ingredients and mix well until you have a soft cookie dough.
3. Divide the dough into two parts. Roll each part into a roll.
4. Place the rolls, spaced apart, on a baking pan lined with parchment paper. Using your hand, press each roll so that you have two long, rectangular logs.
5. Bake at 350⁰F for about 15 minutes or until nice and brown.
6. Remove from the oven and immediately slice into sticks.
7. Let cool and serve.
