Yield: 10 servings

Prep Time: 70 minutes

Ingredients:
2 tablespoons olive oil
4 medium Spanish onions, sliced
2 medium white onions, sliced
Salt and pepper to taste
2 eggs
Dash nutmeg
2 tablespoons flour
½ teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon Zaatar spice
¼ cup dried tomatoes, chopped
4 tablespoons fresh oregano leaves
1 container light cream
6 Tnuva Edam Cheese Slices, cut into small pieces
1 package Tnuva Maadanot Frozen Rolled Short Dough for Savory Pastries
1 jar dried tomato spread
1 package Tnuva Goat Cheese

Instructions:
1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet. Sauté the onions for about 5 minutes stirring constantly. Add salt and pepper, then remove from flame and let cool.
3. In a large bowl, beat the eggs with the nutmeg, flour, ½ teaspoon salt, Zaatar spice, dried chopped tomatoes, sautéed onions, oregano leaves and cream. Add the Tnuva Edam cheese and mix well.
4. Press the Tnuva Maadanot dough onto the bottom and up the edges of a 10-inch quiche pan and pierce all around with a fork. Spread the dried tomato spread on top of the dough.
5. Pour the cheese mixture on top. Arrange slices of the Tnuva Goat Cheese on top.
6. Bake for about 40 minutes, until browned. Cool slightly before serving.
