Ingredients:
Dough:
4 cups flour
1 tablespoon dry yeast
2 eggs
4 tablespoons Tnuva Butter
½ cup sugar
1 ¼ cup milk
Filling:
1 container Tnuva Premium Cheese Spread, Original Flavor
1/2 cup sugar
1 bag frozen cherries or blueberries
Powdered sugar for dusting
Instructions
1. Prepare the dough: Place flour in a large bowl. Combine with the dry yeast. Create a well in the middle. Whisk the eggs and pour into the middle.
2. Meanwhile, put the butter, ½ cup sugar and milk into a saucepan. Heat until very warm, but not hot. Pour on top of the beaten egg.
3. Slowly knead the mixture until a dough forms. Cover bowl with plastic wrap and allow to rise in a warm place for about an hour.
4. Beat the Tnuva Premium cheese spread with the sugar and set aside.
5. When the dough has risen, transfer dough onto a floured surface. Divide into 24 pieces.
6. Take a piece of dough and bring all the sides together to the top, then press down in the center to create an indentation in the middle for the filling. Transfer to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Repeat with all the dough pieces.
7. Preheat oven to 350⁰F. Now fill each indentation with the cheese filling until you have used it all. Top with frozen fruit.
8. Bake for around 25 minutes, or until buns are golden.
9. Remove from oven and dust with powdered sugar that you put through a sieve.
