Chocolate-Coffee Layered Dessert

Chocolate-Coffee Layered Dessert

Yield: 10 servings

Prep Time: 20 minutes

Level: Medium

Ingredients:

4 containers Tnuva Alternative Almond Dessert with Dark Chocolate

Coffee Pudding:
2 cups Tnuva Alternative Barista Oat Drink
3 tablespoons brown sugar
3 tablespoons cornstarch
1/3 cup water
1 tablespoon instant coffee granules
1 ounce dark chocolate, grated
Topping:
1 8-ounce container whipped topping
2 tablespoons instant vanilla pudding mix
2 ounces grated dark chocolate for decorating

Instructions:

1. To prepare the coffee pudding, put the oat drink and the sugar in a saucepan and bring to a boil. Reduce heat.
2. In a separate bowl, combine the cornstarch and the water and mix until incorporated. Pour very slowly into the saucepan with the oat drink, whisking constantly until thickened.
3. Add the coffee and the chocolate and mix until smooth. Remove from the heat.
4. Transfer the pudding to a bowl and cover with cling film, so that the cling film touches the top of the pudding. Put in the fridge for at least one hour.
5. Beat the whipped topping with the instant pudding mix for 2-3 minutes.
6. To assemble: Arrange 10 serving cups. Put 2-3 tablespoons of the dark chocolate flavored almond dessert (about ½ of the total amount) into the bottom of your serving cups. Top with 2-3 tablespoons of the coffee pudding. Add the rest of the chocolate almond dessert and cover with a layer of whipped topping.
7. Decorate with grated chocolate.
