Chocolate Strawberry Pastry Heart

Ingredients:

2 tablespoons Tnuva Zees White Chocolate Flavored or Milk Chocolate Flavored Spread
1 8-ounce container heavy cream
1 tablespoon powdered sugar
1/2 package Tnuva Maadanot Frozen Rolled Puff Pastry Dough, thawed according to package instructions

Instructions:

1. Spread out the dough on a floured surface. Using a special large heart-shaped cutter (or freehand, with a knife), cut out 3 heart shapes. Place one of the hearts on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
2. Stack the remaining 2 hearts one on top of the other. Cut out the middle so that you have just the outside border. Place the border on top of the heart-shaped dough in the pan, so that it forms a “frame” for the pastry.
3. Brush the dough with egg and bake at 325 ⁰F until nicely browned. Let cool.
4. After baking, remove a little of the top layer from the inside of the heart.
5. Spread the Tnuva Zees spread in the center of the pastry.
6. Beat the cream with the powdered sugar until firm. Pipe onto the heart in any design that you like. Decorate with strawberries, chocolates or candies of your choice.
