Coffee Brownies with Cream Cheese Frosting

7 ounces dark chocolate
7 ounces butter
4 eggs
1 ¼ cups sugar
2 teaspoons coffee dissolved in a tablespoon of boiling water
5 tablespoons potato flour
1 package instant vanilla pudding
¾ teaspoon baking powder
1 cup chocolate chips
1 cup chopped nuts

1 container Tnuva Premium Cheese Spread, original flavor
6 tablespoons powdered sugar
1 ½ tablespoons butter

2 teaspoons instant coffee (optional)


1. Preheat oven to 325 ⁰F.
2. Put the chocolate, butter and sugar in a saucepan. Cook over very low heat until the chocolate is all melted, stirring constantly until smooth. Remove from heat and let cool.
3. Transfer the chocolate mixture to a mixer. Beat while gradually adding the eggs, one at a time. Add the dissolved coffee and mix. Add the potato flour, the instant pudding and the baking powder and mix well. Do not overmix.
4. Transfer to a greased 9” x 13” pan and bake for 30 minutes. They will be very moist. Let cool completely.
5. Beat all the frosting ingredients together until smooth and spread over the cooled brownies.
5. Crush the instant coffee granules and sprinkle over the frosting.
