Deep-Fried Croissants with Dipping Cream

Yield: 20-30 croissants

Prep Time: 20 minutes

Ingredients:

1 package Maadanot Frozen Rolled Puff Pastry Dough for Sweet & Savory Pastries, thawed
Sugar for sprinkling
Oil for frying
Dipping Cream:
8 ounces heavy cream
1 container Tnuva Premium Cheese Spread, Original Flavor
2 tablespoons confectionary sugar
2 tablespoons instant vanilla pudding
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

1. Spread open the dough. With a sharp knife, cut into triangles. Roll up each triangle into a croissant.
2. Heat oil and deep fry the croissants until golden brown.
3. After frying, transfer the croissants to a bowl full of sugar and coat well. Set aside.
4. Beat all the ingredients for the dipping cream until firm.
5. Serve the croissants alongside the dipping cream.
