Flaky Cheese Buns

Ingredients:

1/3 package Maadanot Frozen Rolled Flaky Dough for Sweet & Savor Pastries, thawed
1 container Tnuva Quark Creamy Soft Cheese, 5%
I container Tnuva Premium Cheese Spread, Original Flavor
½ cup sugar
1/3 cup instant vanilla pudding
1 egg
Powdered sugar for sprinkling

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 350⁰F.
2. In a medium bowl, combine the cheeses, sugar, instant pudding and the egg.
3. Grease a muffin pan (12 muffins) and place the dough on top. Carefully press dough down into the muffin crevices. Using a sharp knife cut around each pastry in a square shape.
4. Spoon a heaping spoonful of cheese mixture into each pastry. Then, grasp two diagonal corners of the square and press together. Grasp the other two corners and press together. Repeat with all the pastries.
5. Bake for 25 minutes or until pastries are golden.
6. Cool slightly, and dust with powdered sugar.
