Yield: 8 slices
Prep Time: 40 minutes
Level: Medium
Ingredients:
Crust:
1 cup whole spelt flour
½ cup yogurt (remove 1 Tbsp. to use if needed)
1 teaspoon salt
Filling:
2 containers Tnuva Premium Cheese Spread, original flavor
3 Tbsp. flour
1 egg
2 cups green and purple grapes
4 Tbsp. sugar
2 Tbsp. cornstarch
2 Tbsp. lemon juice
Instructions:
1. Put the crust ingredients into a medium bowl. Combine with a spoon and then knead with your hands until you have a soft dough. If the dough is dry, add the extra tablespoon of yogurt.
2. Wrap the dough in plastic and let rest in the fridge for at least an hour.
3. Preheat oven to 350⁰F. Combine all the filling ingredients except for the grapes.
4. Remove the dough from the fridge and roll out to a large circle, about ¾” thick. Transfer to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
5. Being careful to leave about 2” all around, spoon the filling into the center of the dough. Cut the grapes in half and arrange on top of the filling.
6. Fold over the edges of the dough, as shown.
7. Bake for 30 minutes until the edges are golden.
