Yield: 20-25 rolls
Prep Time: 20 minutes
1 ½ cups matzoh meal
1 cup water
½ cup butter
1 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons sugar
3.5 ounces Tnuva Edam Cheese Slices, cut into tiny pieces
1. In a medium pot, heat the water, butter, salt and sugar until boiling. Add the matzoh meal and mix well with a wooden spoon. Remove from heat.
2. Transfer the dough to a mixer with the dough hook. Knead for about a minute. Continue kneading while adding ¾ of the cheese. Add the eggs one by one until the dough is soft enough to form rolls, but not too soft.
3. Heat the oven to 400 F. Line 2 baking pans with parchment paper. With wet hands, form balls the size of a ping-pong ball. Place 2 inches apart. Sprinkle the remaining cheese on top.
4. Bake for 20 minutes or until nice and brown.
5. Serve the same day.
