Pasta with Goat Cheese & Asparagus

1 bunch fresh asparagus
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 tablespoons butter
6 cloves garlic, sliced
Grated zest from 1 lemon
Salt & pepper to taste
1 16-ounce package pasta, cooked according to package instructions (save ½ cup cooking water)
7 ounces Tnuva Goat Cheese, cut into small pieces


1. Remove the tough bottom stems of the asparagus and cut into 1-inch pieces.
2. Heat the olive oil in a skillet. Saute the asparagus pieces (except for the tops) for about 3 minutes or until soft. Add the asparagus tops and the garlic, and saute for another 2 minutes. Add the lemon zest, salt & pepper and the pasta with 3-4 tablespoons of cooking water and cook for another 2 minutes.
3. Add the goat cheese and mix well. Serve immediately.
