Savory Herb Cheese Cookies

Yield: 20-25 cookies

Ingredients:

3.5 ounces cold butter, diced
¾ cup flour
Pinch salt
Pinch chili pepper
½ tablespoons rosemary
4 slices Tnuva Muenster Cheese, cut into small pieces
1 egg, beaten

Instructions:

1. Put the butter, flour, salt, spices and cheese into a food processor and pulse until a dough forms.
2. Form the dough into a ball and wrap with cling film. Flatten into a disc and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
3. Preheat oven to 350⁰F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
4. Roll out the dough on a floured work surface to a 2” thickness.
5. Use a cookie cutter to cut out shapes, and transfer the cookies to a baking sheet. Brush with beaten egg.
6. Bake until golden, about 15 minutes. Cool on a rack.
