Scrumptious Savory Cheese Hamantaschen

Ingredients:
Dough:
1 cup flour
3.5 ounces Tnuva Butter
½ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon sugar
2 ½ tablespoons half-and-half
1 egg yolk
Filling:
½ package Tnuva Feta Sheep’s Milk Cheese
1-2 slices Tnuva Edam Cheese, cut into small pieces
½ cup dried tomatoes, chopped
1 egg
1 teaspoon thyme
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350⁰F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. Put the flour, sugar, salt and butter in a food processor and pulse until you have a mixture that resembles crumbs.
3. Add the cream and the egg yolk and continue to pulse until a dough forms. Shape the dough into a ball and cover with plastic wrap. Flatten into a disc and chill for at least an hour.
4. Combine all filling ingredients in a bowl.
5. Roll out the dough to about 1 ½-inch thickness. Using a glass, cut out 3-inch circles.
6. Place a teaspoon of filling in the center of each circle and then pinch edges together to form a triangle (as shown).
7. Place the hamantaschen on the baking sheet and bake for 12-14 minutes.
