“Sealed With a Kiss” Envelope Cookies

Ingredients:
1 package Tnuva Maadanot Frozen Rolled Short Dough for Sweet Pastries, thawed according to package directions
11 ounces dark chocolate
Powdered sugar for sprinkling
Instructions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 ⁰F.
2. Open out the dough. Using a sharp knife, cut out 15 squares. Using the rest of the dough, cut out tiny hearts with a cookie cutter.
3. To assemble the cookie, place the dough square in front of you with the points toward the top and bottom. Place a square or two of dark chocolate in the center. Fold the bottom end up, and then fold the two sides in to the center, so that you have an open envelope shape (as shown). Repeat with all the squares and place on a baking pan lined with parchment paper.
5. Place the dough hearts in the center of the envelopes, using a little water to glue into place.
6. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until nice and brown.
7. Let cool. Sprinkle with powdered sugar. Keep in an airtight container.
