Simple & Delicious Chocolate Pie

Ingredients:

Maadanot Frozen Rolled Short Dough for Sweet Pastries
5 ounces bitter sweet chocolate
8 ounces heavy cream
1 teaspoon sugar

Instructions

1. Thaw Maadanot dough and spread just enough onto an 8-inch round pan. Pinch the edges so that the dough sticks to the sides of the pan.
2. Freeze until dough hardens in the pan, then bake at 350⁰F for about 30 minutes or until golden. Remove from oven and let cool.
3. Meanwhile, put 2/3 of the heavy cream into a microwavable dish together with the chocolate. Heat in pulses until the chocolate is fully melted. Mix well and put in the fridge.
4. Beat the remaining 1/3 of the heavy cream together with the teaspoon of sugar until firm. Fold into the melted chocolate, reserving a few spoonfuls for decoration.
5. Pour into the cooled pie crust and decorate with the reserved whipped cream. Serve.
