Spring Green Savory ‘Cheesecake’

Prep Time: 60 minutes

Yield: 9” round cake

Ingredients:
3 1/2 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
2 teaspoons salt
½ cup soft butter
3 eggs
1 cup sour cream
¾ cup milk
½ cup chives, chopped
1 teaspoon freshly ground pepper
Cheese Filling:
1 container Tnuva Feta Cow’s Milk Cheese
1 container Tnuva Premium Cheese Spread, Original Flavor
8 ounces heavy cream
1 package Tnuva Edam Cheese Slices, cut into small pieces
3 cucumbers, sliced using a peeler
¾ cup roasted pistachios
½ cup green onions, chopped
¼ cup frozen peas, thawed

Instructions:
1. Preheat oven to 350⁰F.
2. In a mixer bowl, beat the eggs, salt, pepper, chives, milk, sour cream and butter for about 4 minutes. Fold in the flour and baking powder and mix just until incorporated.
3. Transfer the batter to 3 (8-inch) round pans and bake for about 30 minutes. Let cool and remove from pans.
4. Beat the heavy cream with the Premium Cheese Spread until soft peaks form.
5. To assemble: place one cake layer on a serving plate. Top with 1/3 of the cheese cream and 1/3 of the green onions. Repeat with the second layer. Place the third layer on top and spread with the rest of the cheese cream. Decorate with cucumber ribbons, remaining green onions, pistachio nuts and peas. Sprinkle pieces of Edam cheese all around.
