Cheese Patties with White YOLO
Cheese Patties with White YOLO
Yield: 15 patties
Prep time: 40 minutes
Level: Easy
Ingredients:
9 ounces Tnuva Premium Cheese Spread Original Flavor
3 tablespoons sugar
2 tablespoons cake meal (or flour for Shavuos)
1 tablespoon potato starch
1/4 teaspoon baking powder
Dash salt
1/2 teaspoon vanilla flavoring
2 teaspoons lemon juice
2 – 3 tablespoons Tnuva Unsalted Butter for frying
2 containers YOLO Milk Dessert with Fine White Chocolate
Fresh or frozen fruit for garnish
Instructions:
1. Put the Tnuva Premium Cheese Spread and sugar in a food processor. Pulse until smooth. Add the cake meal, potato starch, baking powder, salt, vanilla and lemon juice and blend until you have a smooth mixture. Transfer to a bowl.
2. Heat a non-stick frying pan over medium-low heat and add 1 teaspoon of butter. When the butter is melted, pour the batter into the frying pan by tablespoonfuls for small patties. Dip a tablespoon in water and flatten the tops of the patties. Fry until brown and then using a metal spatula, carefully flip over and fry on the other side. Remove from the frying pan onto absorbent paper.
3. To serve: Spread a tablespoon of white YOLO on a pretty plate. Arrange 3 patties on the plate and drizzle some more YOLO on top. Decorate with fresh or frozen fruit.
